SimplyFired.com is another blog-based site with many hilarious and some quite unbelievable stories submitted by people about why they were fired from their jobs or simply had to leave for some ridiculous reason. Some good videos up here as well. Read, watch and submit your own story on this site.

I wouldn't say these were very funny, but they are all good for a chuckle. Watch video clips of adverts in various categories...

Carlsberg ads are usually good for a laugh...

"What makes a good photograph? A compelling subject, proper lighting, and exquisite composition would certainly be components. But what makes a good mug shot? A compelling subject, of course. And a cow costume never hurts."

Did you know that tigers have striped skin as well as fur? Or that the average lead pencil will draw a line 35 miles long?
Click the 'Generate' button at the top to scroll through them.
Get your useless trivia here!

this one must have done about 32 miles

Ever wondered what the odds of injury from using a chainsaw were? Or the odds of you dating a supermodel?
Well apparently it's 4,464 to 1 and 88,000 to 1.
Of course you'd be assuming that all human beings were exactly the same, looked the same and went about life in exactly the same way all the time, but hey, this still makes for a bit of interesting reading...

this fella knows all about it

If you're like me then you have 7 or 8 different passwords that you have to remember on a daily basis. Some passwords are weak and some are strong. Generally speaking, passwords should have a mixture of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols to be really strong. However if the letters spell out a word or a name, or the numbers are sequential then things like that serve to weaken your passwords.
Some passwords can easily be guessed - especially if you actually know the person the password belongs to, and, if not then there are such things as dictionary attacks or brute force attacks which try different combinations of characters at the speed of the hacker's computer.
This page tests the strength of your passwords, gives you a strength percentage figure and allows you to see the weaknesses present in your passwords. Awesome!

Submit a flattering picture of yourself to this famous website and people will rate you on how sexy you are! Or alternatively just vote on other people's hotness - either way a brilliant and much talked about site when it first appeared.

"There's a new form of graffiti in town, and it's extremely pleasant. so pleasant that i can't imagine even the harshest critics of regular graffiti getting wound up. I mean, who in their right mind would come face to face with a sweater-wearing tree and do anything but smile?"

There are many sites on this topic but this collection is well worth a look with many classics and some new stuff included.
Take the full tour for the full experience...

the middle part looks to be distorted right? Look closer - every single tile is a symmetrical square...

Lawrence Peter 'Yogi' Berra is a former major league baseball player who was voted into the Hall of Fame. Berra, who quit school in the eighth grade, has a tendency toward malapropism (substitution of an incorrect word for a word with a similar sound, usually to comic effect) and fracturing the English language in highly provocative, interesting ways. Simultaneously denying and confirming his reputation, Berra once stated, "I didn't really say everything I said."

We already know a helluva lot about our world - and science in general is so much more advanced now than it was just 100 years ago. This scientific site contains lectures on the stuff that we do not yet know about i.e. the mysteries of our universe which have still not yet been unlocked. Should keep the researchers busy for years to come.
